Silk is a fascinating fabric. It is fragile, and yet strong. Silk flows smoothly, pretty, extremely soft, and very comfortable to wear. Silk keeps you cool in the summer, making it a great choice for those hot sunny days. You may want to invest in this fabric for both the summer and the spring. It always looks good, and there are plenty of ways of wearing silk as well. Here are some of my favourites. Do take a look.
Silk Skirt With Tank Top
This boho silk skirt is going to look awesome with a tank top. Just wear your solid tank and pair it with a layered silk skirt. Perhaps you may want to add a denim purse. You can wear a metallic sandal or heels to complete your look. This will be the perfect first date outfit for the summer.
Silk Floral Dress
Floral dresses are so right for the summer months. You can wear it rich with flowers, but it doesn’t have to be like that always. For example, you can also go for an abstract and subtle print. You can even add a blazer on top of your outfit. Pair it with a turquoise clutch and nude peep-toe pumps.
Silk Top With Distressed Jeans
Silk also looks good with denim. Ruffles are trending now, so why not wear a silk ruffled tank with form-fitting denim. Wedge sandals will go so well with this, especially if you are planning for a first date. Cut-outs at the back will only add to this. Of course, there are many other ways of mixing a silk top with denim too.
Spaghetti Straps With Printed Top And Denim Shorts
Here’s a casual look I am sure you are going to love. This combination works if you have a spaghetti strap top made of silk. You can wear it with your shorts, perhaps light blue denim short, which I am sure will look extremely cute. Or else, you can also wear a romper short. Wear black accessories to complete your look.
Red Silk Dress
You can look truly ravishing in a red silk dress. We see them all the time in weddings, and celebrity cat walks. But you can also wear casually to a brunch with friends. And there are versions that are good for semi-formal gatherings too. Of course, there are many shades to choose from. You can further accentuate your look by wearing the red silk dress with gold heels and bold earrings.
Sleeveless Silk Jumpsuit
This is one of my favourite jumpsuit dresses for the summer days. Just ensure that there is proper foundation underneath. Silk tends to cling to your body. Pay attention to the underwear, because you may end up showing the panty lines. Other than this, you are sure to look exquisite in this outfit. Wear a gold chain belt with this look.
Silk Blouse With Slacks
Pink is such a feminine color. It also looks bright and cheerful in the summer. Find an upscale blouse, which is going to look awesome with a wide-leg pant. Even denim will do. Make sure to match the top with your footwear. Metallic shoes will also do very well. Your clutch should also shine and glitter.
